90 Years of Athletic Excellence
The Allstate Sugar Bowl, which has been a tradition in New Orleans since 1935 and is one of the oldest bowl games to date, will be occurring on January 1, 2026, with a match between Georgia and Ole Miss.

The Allstate Sugar Bowl
The fun starts on New Year's Eve at the official Allstate Sugar Bowl Parade. This Mardi Gras themed parade is just like any other New Orleans parade featuring marching bands, dance teams, floats, and of course beads! The parade starts at 2 p.m. on Elysian Fields Avenue and Decatur Street.
Get your teams gear on and head on over to Champions Square for Tailgate Town from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. on January 1. This tailgate party includes food and drink vendors, live entertainment, and interactive games. Catch a special performance from the bands and cheerleaders of each school that is playing in the Sugar Bowl.
The big game takes place January 1 at 7 p.m. inside Caesars Superdome. The Allstate Sugar Bowl, which will see the Georgia Bulldogs taking on the Ole Miss Rebels, will be doubling as a College Football Playoff game. The game will be televised by ESPN, and tickets are available on Ticketmaster.

A Game for the Community
The Allstate Sugar Bowl brings millions into the economy by hosting student-athletes and sponsoring scholarships while influencing tourism in New Orleans. For 90 years, the Sugar Bowl has celebrated athletic excellence and inspired students nationwide.
