The Mortuary 2025
Every year, The Mortuary chooses a theme to represent the Victorian mansion and its chilling features. This year's theme is "Origins of Evil," focusing on the lost sister of Eve, Nephthys.
Calling herself "The Queen of Night," Nephthys carries the ability to turn men into creatures and create monsters themselves. The Queen of Night has made her way to New Orleans and has claimed The Mortuary as her home this year. Bringing all her followers with her, see The Queen for yourself starting on September 13.

Haunted History
Built in 1876, the Victorian mansion on Canal Street served as a private residence for two different families until 1923. From 1923 to 2003, the mansion was a funeral parlor and hosted over 20,000 funerals. Today, The Mortuary stands as one of the most haunted sites to visit for both New Orleans and Halloween lovers alike.
