Whether you get them sweet, savory, or with a little bit of everything, Americans (who don't have gluten intolerance) love bagels. But where exactly can you get some of the best bagels in the country?

A study by Lawn Love ranked 158 of the best American cities for bagel lovers based on "Access," "Quality," and "Popularity." The top three positions were given to New York City, San Francisco, and Boston, while New Orleans was ranked 11th with an overall score of 20.37.

In regards to the methodology that was used for the ranking, New Orleans didn't fair too well compared to other cities. Out of a score of 100, the city's Access score is 32 and Popularity score is 21, meaning that there's not too many bagel spots around the Big Easy and that bagels are not the popular most baked treats for New Orleanians.

However, the score that New Orleans exceled at is, no surprise, Quality with a ranking of 4. If there's one thing the Crescent City knows how to do, it's making any kind of food taste great.

So if you're in the mood for great tasting bagels in New Orleans, travel around and stop at places like the Kosher Cajun Deli, Laurel Street Bakery, Stein's Market and Deli, Humble Bagel, and more. You'll surely be in for some quality.
