A Stacked Lineup at Jazz Fest
The New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival's 2024 musical lineup has been released.
Of course, the previous announcement of the Rolling Stones' performance will draw huge crowds and understandable excitement from fans across the country. Additional headliners that will be joining them this year include the Foo Fighters, Chris Stapleton, Neil Young and Crazy Horse, Vampire Weekend, The Killers, Hozier, Queen Latifah, Jon Batiste, Widespread Panic, Bonnie Raitt, Rhiannon Giddens, Allison Russell, Earth Wind & Fire, and many more.
Local favorites including Irma Thomas, Big Freedia, Juvenile, Mannie Fresh, Trombone Shorty, and more have also be announced. The full line up can be found on nojazzfest.com/music.
Tickets & More for Jazz Fest 2024
Jazz Fest's first weekend will kick on Thursday, April 25. The second weekend will begin with the highly anticipated headliner of The Rolling Stones on Thursday, May 2. Both weekends will be full of music, classic Louisiana cuisine, local art, and so much more all at the Fair Grounds Race Course and Slots in Gentilly.
Early Bird tickets are currently on sale for both weekends. General
admission tickets for a full four-day pass for the first weekend are $290 now
and will be $320 after early bird sales end. The second weekend four-day pass is
currently running for $465 and will increase to $495. For added perks and standing
room closer to the stages, the fest is also offering several tiers of VIP tickets
for those looking for a more luxurious experience. Ticket prices for individual
days will be released closer to the festival.
Fans come for the wide range of musical performances on offer and stay all day for the food and drinks that are served. Fest attendees can
expect NOLA's best red beans, crawfish etouffee, several types of po-boys, muffulettas,
fresh squeezed lemonade, sno-balls, and so much more. On walks between the multiple
large performance stages and tents featuring blues and gospel music, fans can peruse
the Congo Square African Marketplace, the Louisiana Marketplace, and contemporary
crafts among other works of art. There will also be tents dedicated to the
Native American heritage of Louisiana, folklife of the state, and overall unique
cultural exchange that makes the sate what it is.
Between the incredible musical headliners, food, art, and cultural
