Jazz Fest Community Outreach Tickets
Since 1979, the New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Foundation has given back to the New Orleans and the Louisiana community through Jazz Fest proceeds. One of the most notable ways they do this is through their Community Outreach Ticket Program.
Every year, thousands of free tickets are distributed to nonprofits, schools, religious organizations, and government agencies for the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival presented by Shell.
The idea of this initiative is to give back to organizations that provide services to underserved communities. Tickets are given to people who wouldn't be able to attend the festival due to financial constraints. Eligible recipients for this are Louisiana-based organizations only. To be eligible for these tickets, organizations must provide social services on a consistent basis. There is only one application per organization accepted, and the tickets are for one weekend only.

A Legacy of Giving Back
The New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Foundation is committed to enriching community music and art initiatives, as well as to giving opportunities to those who wouldn't usually have them. Since the beginning of their Community Outreach program, they have awarded 17 million dollars in Community Partnership Grants to various New Orleans communities.
Applications are open until Friday, March 27, 2026, at 5 p.m. (CT). For more information, visit jazzandheritage.org.
