New Collection Coming to the Sazerac House
The Sazerac House is launching a new liqueur collection featuring six different and elevated liqueur options. The "House of Cocktails" include Amaro, Aperitivo, Coffee, Curaçao, Elderflower, and Triple Sec, each sold for $19.99 per 750ml bottle.
When visiting the Sazerac House, guests have the opportunity to try the new King's Court Cocktail. This features Amaro and Elderflower, combined with Wheatley Vodka, Lemon Juice, Simple Syrup, and Blackberry Puree.
The Collection Breakdown
Amaro: This herbal liqueur is both bitter and floral. The Sazerac House recommends including it in a Paper Plane or an Amaro Negroni.
Aperitivo: This liqueur is considered to have a bittersweet and refreshing taste. The Sazerac House recommends including it in a Spritz or a Paloma, drinks for "casual sipping."
Coffee: A seemingly-caffeinated, rich flavor is found in this liqueur and works perfectly with coffee-inspired drinks, such as Espresso Martini and an Irish Coffee.
Curaçao: This powerfully citrus liqueur is made for liqueur-centric cocktails including a Margarita or a Sidecar.
Elderflower: A refreshingly floral liqueur, recommended for cocktails such as a Spritz or a French 75.
Triple Sec: This is a lightly citrus liqueur, which the Sazerac House says is made for a Cosmopolitan or a White Lady.
Ultimate Cocktail Class Sweepstakes Event
The launching of the collection is paired with the Ultimate Cocktail Class Sweepstakes event from February 2 to February 16. The winner and their choice of five friends will be invited to a private Sazerac House cocktail class, where they will learn from an experienced mixologist on how to incorporate the new liqueurs in cocktails.
The winner of the sweepstakes will also be given a rocks glass four-piece set, a coupe glass four-piece set, a shaker set, and a $400 Visa gift card.
What is the Sazerac House
The Sazerac House is a three-story cocktail museum exhibition open everyday from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. with free self-guided tours. Guests of all ages are allowed to enter, and three complimentary cocktails samples are shared with guests 21 years of age and older.
Additional experiences can be reserved, such as the Tropical Cocktail Tasting, the Sazerac Cocktail Tasting, and the Whiskey Grid Tasting.
