A Toast to History
The Hermann-Grima House, located in the historic French Quarter, is hosting a Wine Fête on Friday, March 22.
The spring party will feature wine, live music,
delicious food, specialty cocktails, a silent-auction of wine, and more. Efforts support museum educational programming,
including open hearth cooking, school field trips, seasonal exhibitions, summer
camp, and more events focusing on children and adults. The luxury evening will take place in the courtyard of
the home, located on 820 St. Louis St.
There will be a patron party
from 6-7 p.m., followed by the main event taking place from 7-10 p.m.
The Hermann-Grima House, in collaboration with the Gallier Historic
House, serves as a custodian of two 19th-century French Quarter residences. These two historic homes, managed by The Woman's Exchange, are not only repositories of captivating collections, but also repositories of history. Within the walls, visitors can explore the history of the houses' owners and enslaved
people, free people of color, open-hearth cooking, morning rituals, and
entrepreneurial pursuits of women.
The event will boast luxury and history alike. Situated in a divine home built in 1831, there is no better location to enjoy philanthropy, wine, and conversation. Revel in the opulent ambiance as you support museum efforts, engage in the exquisite silent auction of wines, and savor live musical performances at The Hermann-Grima House.
