Country, Theater, & Acrobatics

Cirque du Soleil's first ever country music show is coming to New Orleans this fall. Songblazers will explore the history of country music and pay tribute to some of the greats of the genre. This brand new show is coming to NOLA September 21 and 22 at the Saenger Theatre.

The show is being created by Cirque du Soleil in conjunction with Universal Music Group Nashville. Songblazers will premier in Nashville July 2024 before heading out to start its seven city tour. This is Cirque du Soleil's first theater based show. Sam Williams, a country artist and grandson of Hank Williams, has created an original song for the show titled "Carnival Heart."

Audiences will enjoy a narrative telling of country music's history and some of it's key leaders, all accompanied by the music they love. The show will also include jaw dropping acrobatics, arial tricks, and all the flair of a Cirque du Soleil performance.
