More About the Parade

Presented by Louisiana Feed Your Soul and in partnership with Kern Studios, WDSU, NewOrleans.com, and many more, the event is a quintessential New Orleans holiday tradition, meant to bring joy and festivity to the community. Honoring the brave patients at Children's Hospital, they have prepared custom made ornaments, including a tag with the creator's name on it, to be thrown during the parade.

Apart of the "Papa Noel: Holiday Promotion," hotels will boast discounted rates and special holiday amenities. Participating hotels include the JW Marriott, the Renaissance, the Sheraton, and more, which can be found here. The New Orleans Sheraton and JW Marriott will offer reservations for balcony views of the parade, alongside street viewing areas, and even watch parties! Proceeds from the events will go to supporting the New Orleans' Children's Hospital.
