The 39th Annual Chef Soiree was a smashing success! Chef Soiree hosted by Chevron brought hundreds of people out to Bogue Falaya Park in Covington on a chilly and gorgeous March evening to raise funds for the Youth Service Bureau, try out some spirits, dance the night away, and eat all the food.

There were bites of gourmet dishes provided by popular restaurants including Boulevard American Bistro, Gallagher's, Nuvolari's, Nur's Kitchen, Crumbl Cookies, and so much more. In between food, there were drinks of every kind. From Ghost Tequila, Hendrick's Gin, and Proper 12 Irish Apple Whiskey to PJ's Coffee, Haven Coffee, and good ol' Coca-Cola, it was difficult to try everything. The koozies on a necklace provided by Liberty Storage really helped out. Some locally-made spirits were the talk of the fest. Hardhide Strawberry Whiskey is made from Ponchatoula Strawberries and features the beloved alligator resident of Ponchatoula Hardhide on the label. Paul Kelly Vodka is the product of a new distillery in Bogalusa which makes their premium vodka from locally grown sweet potatoes and sugar cane.

Proceeds from this joyful event go to benefit the Youth Service Bureau which provides advocacy, counseling, education, and intervention for at-risk youth in St. Tammany and Washington Parishes.
