Chanteuse: Celebrating New Orleans Women In Music

The New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Foundation is pleased to present Chanteuse: Honoring New Orleans Women in Music for the first time in 2023.

This run of female-focused shows comes at a time when the paucity of female representation in the music business has gained attention. The New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Foundation's continuous campaign to remedy injustices in the music business includes Chanteuse.

Artists each weekend from Feb 24 to March 11 2023. Local artists such as Lulu & The Broadsides will be showcased on Friday, Feb 24 at 8 pm. On Saturday Feb 25 ,Erica Falls at 8 pm. The Sarah Quintanta Band on March 3 at 8pm. Ever More Nest will showcase on March 4 at 8pm.The Nayo Jones Experience will be featured on March 10 8pm following Sharon Martin on Saturday March 11 at 8pm.

All performances will be broadcast live on the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Foundation's Facebook and YouTube channel, and https://www.jazzandheritage.org/live/.

The cost of the tickets is $10. The New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Foundation receives a direct benefit from all concert-related sales. The concerts start at 8 o'clock sharp, with doors opening at 7 o'clock. Please register ahead of time as space is limited.
