Bayou Boogaloo

Bayou Boogaloo, the three-day event, will run from Friday, May 16 until Sunday, May 18 along Bayou St. John. Each day will have food, community art, music, and canoeing to enjoy regardless of the weather.

The festival is changing to one main music stage this year—namely the Urban South Orleans Stage.

The music lineup will include an Alanis Morissette tribute show featuring Alexis Marceaux on the final day. Some of the main stage headliners include Big Freedia's Gospel Revival, Honey Island Swamp Band, Ghalia Volt, and more.

The large market of festival goers will have plenty of ways to be entertained with this year's Modelo Variety Tent.

There will be plenty of comedy on the schedule and performances will be held by the likes of Comedy Gumbeaux, Greetings from Queer Mountain, and improv comedy. Many other acts including crawfish eating contests, drag bingo, and many more quirky shows will be available for festival goers to enjoy.
