James Andrews, the celebrated jazz and New Orleans rhythm and blues artist, as well as the older brother of Trombone Shorty, has recently released his latest album Crescent City Allstars.

Andrews (also known as "Satchmo of the Ghetto") is a native of New Orleans, raised in the Tremé neighborhood, and was born into a family steeped in the culturally rich musical traditions of the city. Andrews' dedication to furthering and enhancing these traditions clearly resonates through his music and this album.

Recorded at Trombone Shorty's studio in New Orleans, Crescent City Allstars delivers a vibrant blend of jazz, rhythm and blues, and soul.
