The 2021 New Orleans Wine & Food Experience is this week, and tickets are now for sale! NOWFE, as it's called, is among the foremost events in the Big Easy. Every year, hundreds of restaurants and wineries participate in NOWFE, from restaurants offering special dining evenings to local dealers hosting tasting events for over 1,000 wines from around the globe. Now in its 29th anniversary, this celebration of New Orleanian culture through food and wine has become one of the most fascinating culinary events in the country, attracting food, art, and music lovers from all parts of the U.S.
Due to COVID-19 safety precautions and restrictions, organizers moved NOWFE to mid-summer, with it taking place from June 9 to 13, as well as special award ceremonies taking place on June 8. Furthermore, because of the restrictions, most events will have limited attendance. However, many events will also have additional time slots added in.
"We've created several ticket packages to help guide our guests through the best experience that fits their needs," Joey Worley, NOWFE's president, said. "With varying levels, everyone can find something to fit their budget and their schedule."
While some ticket packages are sold out due to the limited attendance requirements, here are some that are still offered for online purchase:
