X Games First Trip to New Orleans
New Orleans will host the MOONPAY X Games Championship, which has announced its musical headliners, from July 24 to 26 at the Caesars Superdome.
What is X Games
Popularized by athletes such as skateboarder Tony Hawk and snowboarder Shaun White, X Games has become one of the biggest organizations for action sports.
Started in 1995 with a summer event in Providence, RI, X Games has since added an annual winter event and international events.

Headliners
Friday, July 24
Metro Boomin
One of hip-hop's premier producers and musicians, Metro Boomin has collaborated with acts including Drake, Kendrick Lamar, and Future.
J.I.D.
Another big name in rap out of Atlanta, J.I.D. has earned platinum hits for projects such as The Never Story and Dicaprio 2 and has received two Grammy nominations.
Saturday, July 25
Subtronics
One of EDM's current superstars, Subtronics has performed at major festivals including Coachella, Electric Dasiy Carnival, and Ultra Music Festival. They are currently on a sold-out tour.
Bunt
Known for upbeat sounds that mix dance and folk music, Bunt is one of EDMs rising stars. He is known to bring a high-energy performance wherever he goes.
What to Expect
The championships will feature 18 medal events with more than 100 participants and four music acts in the Smoothie King Center.
Medal events will be hosted Friday through Sunday for both men and women.
