The Baby Dolls have been a part of New Orleans carnival for well over 100 years, and the New Orleans Baby Doll Ladies have carried on that proud tradition for the past three years, even being recognized as the only all-female marching krewe that beings the parades on Mardi Gras Day. The inductees of this honored organization are all incredibly accomplished women of color. Doctors, mental health professionals, teachers, and mothers make up The New Orleans Baby Doll Ladies, and their induction ceremony at the House of Blues Parish room was as elegant, fun, and sweet as they are.
You can learn more about them and see their route on their website.
