After two years of putting festivals on hold due to the pandemic, Southern Decadence is back on the streets by popular demand! Southern Decadence, which is held every Labor Day weekend, is the largest gay celebration in the French Quarter. Every year, they put on a series of bar crawls, drag shows, luncheons, and the best part--a high-energy parade full of brilliant, vibrant colors. It's widely known as the "Gay Mardi Gras" by the LGBT community.
