Tattoos for a Cause
On December 8, SwampWater Studio will host a fundraiser in support of Zeus' Rescues and in honor of the Mid-City hero and famous fugitive dog, Scrim.
The studio—located at 3933 Toulouse St.—will open its doors from 12 p.m. until 8 p.m. on Sunday, December 8. The event will feature hand-drawn and custom flash tattoos starting at $60 and up, depending on size. Vivian Hava from Lucky Dagger Tattoo Studio and Alex Diaz from North Carolina will visit the shop to be additional help in drawing tattoos for guests! Proceeds from the event will go to supporting Zeus' Rescue, alongside the opportunity for donations to be made to support their organization.
About Zeus' Rescue
Zeus' Rescue is on a mission to eradicate pet homelessness and euthanasia around the metro New Orleans area. Similarly, Zeus' Rescue aims to support and facilitate connection with children and the elderly through animal fostering and rescue. Finding and rescuing animals from high-kill areas, Zeus' aims to find forever homes for these furry friends! Since the beginning of their journey in 2014, they have been able to save and provide forever homes for their animals, with a record number of 1,000 rescues in 2017. A completely volunteer-led organization, if you are looking to get more involved and help take care of these pets, Zeus' Rescue encourages locals to walk them.

Visit SwampWater Studio on Sunday, December 8 from 12 p.m. until 8 p.m., to experience awesome artistry, get some cool tattoos, and support a fantastic organization!
