According to their website, they "served more than 25 million individuals worldwide and helped more than 230,000 people train for careers in industries such as banking, IT, and healthcare." Reverend Edgar J. Helms, Goodwill's founder, also created the Goodwill philosophy of "not charity, but a chance." The New Orleans Jazz Museum found its home in the Old U.S. Mint by Frenchmen Street and the French Quarter, in the center of the city of jazz. The Jazz Museum helps inform the world's view of jazz as an important and vital genre of music and an influential aspect of New Orleanian history. This museum also partners with arts schools, such as the New Orleans Center for the Creative Arts and the Trombone Shorty Academy, to help young jazz musicians continue the legacy.
