After opening with a bang in Metairie, Shake Shack's New Orleans location has opened in the One Canal Place luxury brand mall at the foot of the French Quarter. In true New Orleans fashion, the fresh, delicious burger and shake chain was heralded in with a brass band, local culinary celebrities, photos, and fun. The burger was cooked medium rare and slathered with incredible toppings which matched perfectly with the salty, thick fries. The shake samples were better than I thought they could be. The Christmas Cookie shake tasted just like cake batter!
