Specializing in farm-to-table fare from Southern Louisiana, Sac-A-Lait is a gem for both locals and visitors located in the Warehouse District. We got to sample their fresh and lovely Tuna Tartare and decadent Deviled Crab alongside Javier's 75 tequila/champagne cocktail. The Alligator & Mirliton was a brand new take on a dish that I've been having my whole life; the mirliton was whipped as fluffy as mashed potatoes. Their take on a boudin ball with added mushrooms for even more savory flavor stopped my heart for just beat. Stop on by and see what they've got on the stove for you!
