New Orleans' Pride Fest

When it comes to celebrations of any kind - parades, picnics, festivals, you name it - New Orleanians are certified experts. Having an aptitude like that, it's no surprise that the Crescent City doesn't take a break in June. This Pride month, we're going all out, and for the final note to our month-long celebration, Third Coast Entertainment and Zony Mash Beer Project are collaborating on a day packed full of live tunes, classic New Orleans' bites, and all-around fun. Mark your calendars for Saturday, June 25 and get ready for PRIDE Fest.

PRIDE Fest Activities and Details

PRIDE Fest, going from 3:00 p.m. till 9:00 p.m., will have a main focus on live music, performed by standout LGBTQ musicians. Taking either stage of Zony Mash Beer Project's distinctly welcoming music venue, performers include some of the best voices on the LGBTQ scene, like New Orleans' native, Mia Borders with her funky jams, and folk rock powerhouse Lilli Louis. PRIDE musicians will also comprise of a few Americana headliners, led by members of the LGBTQ community of course, along with an art market for local vendors to show off their artistry and support. Among some of New Orleans' most talented artists and performers, Zony Mash has crafted a signature hard seltzer for PRIDE Fest, and attendees have a chance at winning a range of giveaways throughout the event. Food vendors will be in attendance to appease your cravings, and entrance to PRIDE is donation based, with proceeds going towards LGBT Community Center of New Orleans.

About LGBT Community Center of New Orleans, Third Coast Entertainment, and Zony Mash Beer Project

With this event being a celebration of Pride month and the LGBTQ community, it only makes sense that proceeds for PRIDE fest go towards the LGBT Community Center of New Orleans. This non-profit organization has provided a safe and welcoming space for local members of the LGBTQ community and allied groups for decades, starting with humble beginnings back in 1992. Today, the Center aims to lead in the fight against homophobia, transphobia, racism, and misogyny by advocating for their members, and providing referrals and information to LGBTQ individuals in the New Orleans' area. They also work to educate LGBTQ members, as well as those who want to learn about the community, so that New Orleans' can become a more empowering and equitable space for sexual and gender minorities now and in the future.

The leading hosts for PRIDE Fest, Third Coast Entertainment and Zony Mash Beer Project, are incredibly excited to welcome the community and have some fun while at it. Created by musician Mia Borders, who will be performing at the event, Third Coast Entertainment was founded in 2018 with the purpose of providing a female BIPOC-owned event and talent agency to the Gulf Coast. Zony Mash Beer Project, as well, boasts a dedication to creative expression, with a uniquely open and welcoming spirit. Coming together this June 25, both Zony Mash Beer Project and Third Coast Entertainment, are more than ready for a welcoming, creative atmosphere dedicated to the LGBTQ community and all their supporters.
