The Press Club of New Orleans convened to celebrate the holidays at Hot Tin, the rooftop lounge atop The Pontchartrain Hotel.
Membership turnout from media outlets throughout the New Orleans metro area included TV newsrooms, newspapers, radio, podcasts and digital new media, as well as magazines, including Where Y'at. Press Club members from media-based law firms, public relation agencies, and college mass communications departments also joined their clientele counterparts in celebrating at the winter soiree.
Mild temperatures allowed Hot Tin's glass wall to be retracted opening the space to allow all guests to enjoy the fresh air and cityscape panorama. Donning Santa hats, antlers, and ugly sweaters, the Press Club embraced the seasonal festivities while setting aside Nielsen rivalries.
