Praise Fest "On the Bayou" is returning to New Orleans this fall for three days of gospel music, worship, and community celebration. The free, family-friendly festival will celebrate its 17th year from October 16-18 along Bayou St. John.
Presented by Versatile Entertainment, Inc. and co-sponsored by the Because I Can Foundation, Praise Fest brings together families, churches, gospel music lovers, and visitors from around the city. Attendees can expect live gospel music, praise and worship, entertainment, food, family activities, and opportunities for fellowship throughout the weekend.

Gospel Music on Bayou St. John
Gospel music is at the center of Praise Fest, with artists and entertainers taking the stage throughout the three-day celebration. The festival gives gospel performers a space to showcase their music while bringing different parts of the New Orleans community together.
The festival will also feature food and merchant vendors for attendees to visit between performances. Community members can also get involved through volunteer opportunities, while businesses and organizations can participate as sponsors.
17 Years of Praise Fest
Praise Fest is presented by Versatile Entertainment, Inc., with Bishop Ryan Warner serving as executive producer. Over the past 17 years, the festival has developed into an annual celebration focused on gospel music, faith, family, and community in New Orleans.
This year's festival is co-sponsored by the Because I Can Foundation, a nonprofit organization supporting the event's community mission. Praise Fest continues to provide a free space where families, churches, visitors, and community members can come together through music and worship.

Praise Fest "On the Bayou" 2026
Praise Fest "On the Bayou" will take place Friday, October 16 through Sunday, October 18 from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. each day. The festival will be held along Bayou St. John at 500 N. Norman C. Francis Parkway at the corner of Orleans Avenue.
Admission is free for all three days. Attendees are encouraged to bring their families and friends for a weekend of gospel music, entertainment, food, fellowship, and activities along the bayou.
