NOLAxNOLA, in partnership with Relix, is excited to host their first annual NOLAxNOLA Talks Conference, where—over the span of two days—local creative and musical leaders will host a series of seven panels discussing a variety of topics in regards to the past, present, and future of the New Orleans live entertainment industry.
The event will take place on Thursday, October 3 and Friday, October 4, from 1 p.m. until 6 p.m. at Double Dealer Bar New Orleans. Panels will include: "How New Orleans Helped to Give Birth to the Modern Music Festival," "Sustainability in Music in New Orleans: How Music Gets Green in a Red State," and "Why National Touring Musicians Love New Orleans' Old, Intimate Venues." Throughout these discussions, attendees will have the opportunity to ask questions, network, and learn from some of the city's local entertainment geniuses and celebrities. Whether you're a seasoned professional or trying to learn more about a new industry, the NOLAxNOLA Talks conference is a fantastic way to gain valuable insight about New Orleans' music industry.
