NOLAxNOLA and Tipitina's welcomes you to a Hurricane Ian Relief concert on Friday, October 7.

On Wednesday, September 29, Hurricane Ian made landfall as a Category 4 storm in Southwest Florida, leaving destruction and flooding in its path. Millions of residents were left without power, and thousands of people were trapped in their homes. Sadly, more than 100 people died during the storm.

In solidarity with their Floridian neighbors, NOLAxNOLA and Tipitina's will raise money for Direct Relief, a humanitarian aid organization that seeks to improve the lives of those affected by emergencies such as poverty and natural disasters. Flow Tribe, Soul Brass Band, and Tony Hall & Friends will perform for the cause at Tipitina's for 9 p.m.

Direct Relief has received a 100% fundraising efficiency from Forbes, ranked No. 1 on Charity Navigator's list for "10 Best Charities Everyone's Heard Of," and was included in Fast Company's list of "The World's Most Innovative Nonprofits." The organization is active in 50 states and more than 80 countries.

Get your tickets at tipitinas.com. If you want to learn more about Direct Relief and its work, visit directrelief.org.
