It's been nine long years since NOLA Brewing opened their doors on Tchoupitoulas, and it has paid off abundantly. In that time, NOLA has grown to be one of the top beers in the Gulf Coast region. They've expanded their brewery to have a very popular tap room and event space, but those buildings weren't large enough to house this anniversary party. Fortunately, I was there early enough to try their absolutely delicious I'm With Cupid Tart Ale and Bienville Sour which is aged for three years in oak barrels. I also highly recommend the Caddywhompus Sour if you ever come across it.
