Celebrate Black History Month with this powerful documentary chronicling the first organized interracial civil rights protest in America. The film follows the 1960 protest at Glen Echo Amusement Park, where Howard University students and local Jewish residents united against segregation, helping spark the Civil Rights Movement.

Award-winning chef Alon Shaya will be present for "Lessons of a Cookbook," exploring recipes from Holocaust survivors. Sample dishes from survivors' family cookbooks while Loyola University Holocaust Studies students facilitate a discussion with Chef Shaya. A special exhibit will showcase Holocaust remembrance and survival stories.
