Dashing Through the Warehouse District
Deck the halls and don your gay apparel, New Orleans! The most wonderful time of the year is upon us as the 13th Annual Running of the Santas plans to sprint back into the Warehouse District on Saturday, December 14.
This year's yuletide extravaganza promises more holiday cheer, more jingle bells, and more Santas than ever before!
Spread the Christmas spirit early by snagging your tickets now! General Admission elves can join the festivities for just $30, with an early bird special of two tickets for $30 (while supplies last). For those looking to add some extra sparkle to their stockings, VIP tickets are available for $75, including an open bar at the North Pole (aka Generations Hall)—talk about holiday magic!
The merriment kicks off at 2 p.m. at Lucy's Retired Surfers Bar, or the "South Pole," where you can fuel up with festive drink specials and great music. VIP ticket holders enjoy free beer at Lucy's! At 6 p.m., it's time for the main event: the jolly dash from the "South Pole" to the "North Pole" (Generations Hall), just a few blocks away. Runners will assemble on Lafayette Street at the corner of South Peters.
Once at Generations Hall, the party continues with live music by Neutral Snap and DJ Wixx starting at 6 p.m. General Admission tickets include access to both venues, while VIP tickets offer an exclusive open bar package at Generations Hall from 6 to 10 p.m. and access to the VIP Lounge.
Don't miss out on the costume contest and prizes! Remember, a portion of the proceeds benefits the "That Others May Live" Foundation. This event is sponsored by Surfside Vodka and Abita Beer.
