The New Orleans Film Festival announced Music Pictures: New Orleans will close the in-person portion of this year's festival on Tuesday, November 8 at 8:15 p.m. at the New Orleans Jazz Market.
Music Pictures: New Orleans is a documentary that gives viewers legacy portraits of New Orleans music legends Irma Thomas, Ellis Marsalis, Little Freddie King, and Benny Jones. Director Ben Chace will be in attendance at the screening, as will Ms. Irma Thomas herself. Closing night celebrations will follow at the New Orleans Jazz Market with live performances from the Treme Brass Band, Little Freddie King, and Marley Marsalis.
