New Orleans Black Pride
New Orleans will be celebrating both Black pride and LGBTQ+ pride with a weekend full of fun and empowering activity for the queer community and their allies.
With the help of New Orleans Black Pride, the city comes together for a series of empowering and liberating events to uplift the local queer population.

Event Details
From June 4 to 7, New Orleans Black Pride is hosting ticketed programming for those interested in learning about and supporting the Black LGBTQ+ community:
- Stop by the Ashe Cultural Arts Center on June 4 for a reception to kick-start the weekend's events.
- On June 5 and 7, there will be a Queer Aunties - Wellness Experience at the Barnett from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m.
- The Black Queer Legacy Summit will take place on June 5 from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m. at the Ashe Cultural Arts Center.
- The night of June 5 from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m., there will be a Queer Aunties Wine Down event.
- There will also be a Pridecoming event from 10 p.m. to 3 a.m. on June 5.
- June 6 will feature the 5th annual Community Festival and Tailgate from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m., as well as the Freaknik event from 10 p.m. to 3 a.m.
- The final day of New Orleans Black Pride, June 7, concludes with the Butch Queen Brunch from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. and the Slippery When Wet Pool Party at the Barnett's rooftop pool from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m.
