King Baby has opened a new location in Canal Place; an homage to the time he spent here visiting his beloved aunt. The rock n' roll jewelry brand helmed by Jackson, Mississippi native Mitchell Binder finds its NOLA home right in the middle of the action of the mall's luxury brands on the second floor in the coveted rotunda capped with a gold crown. The kick-off event featured food from Canal Place neighbor Brasa, libations, and a rocking set by Wolfe Johns Band. Shoppers and followers of the famous brand perused the racks of chunky, elaborate, cool rings, necklaces, and more. The pieces are inspired by Binder's love of music and musicians, as well as outlaw motorcycle culture. King Baby's New Orleans location joins other King Baby stores located in Santa Monica, Nashville, Las Vegas, New Hope, Beijing, and Red Bank.
