Jazz Fest Ticketing Info
For those who are not sure what New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Festival package works best for them, here is a breakdown of ticket rates and amenities so guests can begin their Jazz Fest experience thoughtfully.
Pricing is tiered, with the following rates being representative of Tier 2 ticketing. Tier 1, with the lowest ticket rate, is no longer available for Jazz Fest 2026.

GA
General admission tickets grant guests access to all the festival grounds have to offer—performances, food for purchase, and community. Tier 3 ticketing will result in a $10 increase for these GA amenities.
Ticket options for general admission vary by day and ticket accommodations. For weekends one and two, GA access is available for $109, April 23 and 30 only. A Good Any Day ticket, with the exception of Saturdays, is available for weekends one and two at $139. Saturday, with the most extensive festival line-ups, is sold for $159, April 25 and May 2 only.
For a GA four-day pass, tickets currently cost $429 for both Weekend 1 and Weekend 2. GA+ tickets are now only available by waitlist, with Tier 2 costing $689. GA+ includes a separate entrance lane, lounge access, and festival re-entry.
VIP
VIP tickets include access to various amenities depending on the package. All VIP tickets serve as four-day passes, with options of Big Chief VIP, Grand Marshall VIP, and Krewe of Jazz Fest VIP.
The waitlist for Big Chief VIP Weekend 1 is still open, but ticketing for Big Chief VIP Weekend 2 is no longer available. These packages include event re-entry, VIP lane access, premium covered seating at the three Main Stages, an air-conditioned hospitality lounge, special bleacher seating in the Blues Tent and WWOZ Jazz Tent, exclusive beverage stands at the Festival Stage and Shell Gentilly Stage, and private restrooms.
The Grand Marshall VIP Weekend 1 is a four-day pass available for $1,999. The Grand Marshall VIP Weekend 2 is currently available only via the waitlist.
The Grand Marshall VIP Weekend package includes the closest, up-front viewing experience at all three "main stages," access to the Grand Marshal lounge, a shaded hospitality tent with snacks, private restrooms, and a dedicated cash bar. Also, guests are permitted for event re-entry and VIP lane access.
The most accommodating VIP package, the Krewe of Jazz Fest VIP, is waitlist only for both Weekend 1 and 2. Krewe of Jazz Fest VIP guests have access to the same amenities as Grand Marshall VIP, with increased access to the most anticipated performances and an exclusive beverage stand at the viewing platforms.

Cabanas
The cabanas are limited and provide great performance views and an array of amenities.Their locations include sight-lines of the Festival Stage and the Shell Gentilly Stage. The suite can accommodating up to 35 guests with elevated, shaded seating, as well as concierge service, phone chargers, complimentary non-alcoholic beverages, special catering and bar menu options available for purchase, private air-conditioned restrooms, and four parking passes per Cabana.

Travel Packages and Jazz Fest Express
The Jazz Fest travel packages are no longer available, but typically include the bundling of festival tickets with local hotel accommodations and shuttle passes for guests.
Jazz Fest has express shuttles available roundtrip for single-day and four-day riders, applicable to any day, any weekend. Single day shuttling is $29 and the four-day pass is $96.
Pick-up locations include the Sheraton New Orleans Hotel, French Quarter Steamboat NATCHEZ Dock, Wisner Lot, and the South Market District Hyatt Regency. Drop-off is inside the festival gates and the busses are air-conditioned.

Discount for Locals
Louisiana residents can purchase general admission tickets at a discounted price. For single-day tickets, Thursday tickets are available for $55 with Tier 1, $65 for Tier 2, and $75 for Tier 3 ticketing.
Saturday GA is available for $119 with Tier 1, $129 with Tier 2, and $139 with Tier 3 ticketing. Single-day, good for Thursday, Friday, or Sunday only, is available for $99 with Tier 1, $109 with Tier 2, and $119 with Tier 3 ticketing.
For GA Weekend 1 and 2 ticket packages, Tier 1 beings at $319, Tier 2 at $349, and Tier 3 at $379.
Children under 2 years of age do not need a ticket to attend Jazz Fest. Tickets are available at the gate for guests ages 2 through 10, costing $5 per child.
