The three craft areas are designed to showcase the cultural diversity that represents the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival. The Congo African Marketplace reflects the culture influences seen from the African diaspora, featuring unique and handcrafted pieces that resonate with the African-Caribbean culture in Congo Square.

The Contemporary Crafts area features national and international artists alike. This craft area features hand-made, original, and one-of-a-kind designs from all forms of media.

The Louisiana Marketplace craft area features artwork from Louisiana artisans and craftspeople only. This marketplace displays various aspects of the state's culture through art and design.

The New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Festival is also holding a Crafts Application Social for vendor applicants to come meet other artists in the community and promote their work. The social will take place Wednesday, October 22 from 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Foundation on North Rampart.
