Horses Play Ball, For All

The Louisiana Hospitality Foundation announced that the 14th annual Horses, Hops, and Cops event will take place on Wednesday, January 31.

The event, which was originally supposed to take place on January 24 but was rescheduled due to bad weather, will take place at the N.O.P.D. stables in City Park and is in support of the equestrian cops that often work parades and other French Quarter festivities.

This free, family-friendly event will run from 5 to 8 p.m. The event will include an equine soccer game, tours of the stables, DJ performances, food and beverages, and so much more. Spend the day learning about some hard working horses while enjoying the stables. Attendees will also have the opportunity to meet the beautiful Budweiser Clydesdales.

VIP ticket options will also be available for those interested in a more behind the scenes in depth tour from 3:30 to 4:30 p.m. Each VIP will receive a gift bag including stickers, Hilton Riverside Cookies, Mardi Gras throws, Tabasco, and more.

The day will wrap up with a fundraising raffle offering a verity of prizes including passes to the Audubon Zoo, Aquarium, and Insectarium. Raffle winners will also be able to ride on the Budweiser Clydesdale wagon in a Mardi Gras Day parade.
