Cocktails with a Historical Twist at the Higgins Hotel
Higgins Hotel, located near the National WWII Museum, is thrilled to announce its reinvented "Garden to Glass" drink collection and new happy hour selections at Kilroy's Bar & Lounge.
From late August to September, National WWII Museum is hosting the Garden to Glass Festival, and Kilroy's in the Higgins Hotel will present new drinks during this year's festival period. It is important to Higgins Hotel to show how much WWII shaped American history, and history in general. Their new cocktails are influenced by history, but have a modern twist.
The new cocktails for the Garden to Glass menu will include: Cucumber Watermelon Martini, Blues Cat #7, Blood Orange Sour, East India Yacht Club, and SugarHill Lemonade. These cocktails feature deliciously fresh ingredients like watermelon, jasmine, lemon juice, cucumber, with spirits like rye whiskey, gin, and coconut pot-still rum. With these fresh ingredients and top-notch spirits, Kilroy's Bar & Lounge inside the Higgins Hotel is the perfect place to grab a drink inspired by history.
Kilroy's Bar & Lounge serves cocktails, small bites, and plates that have a Southern flare. They are open seven days a week, but with differing hours. From Monday to Thursday, they are open from 4 p.m. to 11 p.m., but are also open at 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. Friday through Sunday. Take a seat at the bar and grab one of the new cocktails before heading out to the National WWII Museum.
The Higgins Hotel is known as the "Official Hotel of the National WWII Museum." The National WWII Museum is located in the Warehouse District and showcases America's influence and experience in WWII. It was originally dedicated as The National D-Day Museum in 2000, but has now been designated as the The National WWII Museum. This museum has been ranked number three in the United States by TripAdvisor in 2018.
