The festival, which is situated along the Mississippi River in downtown Historic Old Gretna, will feature a large variety of food, with many different cultures being represented. In addition, the fest will have a huge selection of arts and crafts, kids entertainment, and live music by award-winning local and national artists.

"Gretna Fest is always such a wonderful event - not only for the City of Gretna but also for the entire New Orleans area," Mayor Constant said in a press release.

This year's Gretna Fest musical headliners will include Lynyrd Skynyrd, Kool & The Gang, Trombone Shorty and Orleans Avenue, The Temptations, Lee Brice, and many more.

The festival will also be featuring more themed Villages and will be bringing back elements that were introduced last year such as the Kids' Corner, the Club Backstage in the Gretna Cultural Center for the Arts, and the RFID wristbands. Said wristbands will serve as attendees' tickets and will also also handle all transactions that folks will make within the festival.

"The RFID wristbands were new last year, and it took a little time for people to get used to them," Mayor Constant added. "But they turned out to be a huge success. Folks really came to appreciate how easy and convenient they made going to the Fest."

Single Day tickets will be $30, while a three day Weekend Pass will be $60. Children aged 5 to 12 can enter the fest for $5 and kids 4 and under can get in for free.
