Gentilly Fest 2025

A celebration of the one-of-a-kind Gentilly District, Gentilly Fest 2025 will take place in Ponchartrain Park from October 10 to 12.

The festival showcases everything that the Gentilly District has to offer, from delicious Creole cuisine to talented jazz musicians.

Food & Drinks

The festival is welcoming 20 local restaurants and food vendors to show off Gentilly's unique cuisine. Chef Avis, Sweet Potato Cafe, and Ladelyo's will serve New Orleans seafood specialties such as stuffed shrimp, fried fish, and seafood gumbo. Nearby, attendees can grab a po-boy at Fusion Eats by Shon.

Soul Sisters Provisions, Heart 2 Soul NOLA, and Cafe Dauphine will cook soul food for hungry guests. Attendees can finish off their meals with a cup of bread pudding from Uncle Mikey's Cuisine or Nene B Sweets.

Don't forget to stay cool with sno-balls from Nola Snoball Express or Italian ice from Lil Dustin's. A complete list of vendors is available on Gentilly Fest's website.

Musical Performances

Many different artists will perform at Gentilly Fest across multiple different stages. The opening night of Gentilly Fest, entitled Jazz Under the Stars, will feature the likes of Juane Jordan, the Deuce Brown Quintet, Quintin Gerard W & Lemek, and Gladney.

Day two will feature sets from Frank Richard of Chocolate Milk ("Groove City" and "How About Love"), Royal Essence, James Andrews, Kyle Alexander, and Joy Clark, among others. The festival culminates on Sunday with 803Fresh ("Boots on the Ground: Where Them Fans At?"), DJ Captian Charles, Nell Simons, Mecca Notes, and more, including a Ladies of Soul performance with Dane Ruffins, Naydja Coje, Rechell Cook, and Sharon Morton.

Arts & Crafts

Ponchartrain Park will host a makeshift arts & crafts fair, featuring many different vendors with booths to sell their wares. From fleur-de-lis umbrellas to African clothing, Gentilly Fest's arts & crafts vendors will have the perfect gift for you or a loved one.

NOLA Sweet & Boozy and NOLA Cookies will offer delicious bites for those hoping to avoid the crowds in the food court. A complete list of booths is available on Gentilly Fest's website.
