The Team
The program will feature two New Orleans mainstays: Tamica Lee as a choreographer/dance coach and Jeff Lane as the master of ceremonies/voice coach.
Tamica Lee is a familiar face to locals, appearing as anchor on Good Morning New Orleans for WGNO-26, as well as holding a slew of other credits to her name in the entertainment sphere. Nationally, Lee is known for her work in Bravo's Southern Charm New Orleans. The former Saintsation (2001-2005) later went on become the group's appearance team coordinator before finding further work with large-scale sporting events. These involved coaching hundreds of high school dancers and managing the logistics of these events. Lee's work reflects her appreciation for New Orleans along with her and her brother's special nonprofit mentoring group called Son of A Saint. The group is named for Lee and her brother's father, Bivian Lee Jr., a former cornerback for the New Orleans Saints.
Jeff Lane is a musical artist known for his 25 years of work in The Molly Ringwalds, a national touring '80s cover band that has released four album with millions of streams on all platforms. Lane works as the lead vocalist in the band and is known by his alter-ego Sir Devon Nooner. Lane has also had a notable catalogue of work elsewhere since he appeared on the scene in 1995. From his beginnings in Krush U.K. to work in his Beatles tribute band Bad Newspaper, Lane has certainly made a name for himself, especially in New Orleans, where he resides.
