16 Great Acts at the New Orleans Jazz Museum
On January 16-18, the New Orleans Jazz Museum at 400 Esplanade Ave. will hold an entertaining and educational celebration of jazz and blues history at the Cigar Box Guitar Festival.
The name of the festival refers to the makeshift instruments built from cigar boxes, which proved crucial to the early development of music in the blues and jazz genres. The musical lineup includes a wide array of local, national, and international entertainers who'll contribute over 16 hours of fun over the course of the three-day event.
Only 150, all-inclusive live-audience tickets will be sold. For $159 per ticket, enjoy a more intimate and comfortable experience in the Performance Center of the New Orleans Jazz Museum as you enjoy the available talent. Act fast because ticket holders will receive three-day, seated admission, as well as chances to win one of three cigar box guitars; an official poster, a refrigerator magnet, and an event laminate. If space allows, a few standing-room-only, single-day tickets will be sold.
Order Tickets for the CBG Festival via Eventbrite. Find a spot to park on Esplanade, then walk on down to the New Orleans Jazz Museum.
