Chef Nina Compton has done it again! Still riding high with the success of her CBD restaurant Compere Lapin, she has opened up the brand new restaurant Bywater American Bistro serving Southern-inspired, all-American dishes and amazing cocktails. The soon-to-be-hit eatery is located in the Rice Mill Lofts. Chef Nina and her co-owner Levi Raines served a preview menu consisting of Blue Crab Salad on Sourdough Crackers, Hogs Head Boudin Balls, Tuna Toast, Little Gems Salad with Whipped Avocado Butter sprinkled with File Powder, and a delicious Crab Fat Rice.
