Tales of the Toddy celebrates great holiday-themed cocktails from Thanksgiving all the way to New Years Day. For the Tales of the Toddy conference this year, Tales of the Cocktail Foundation will highlight and thank the local New Orleans bartending community for their outstanding work in making the city what it is.
Cheers to the holiday season with the Holiday Toddy, a fresh take on the classic beverage using William Grant & Sons’ first from-the-ground-up American whiskey, Fistful of Bourbon. A blend of five straight American bourbons aged at least two years. Fistful of Bourbon is currently found exclusively in Texas.
Holiday Toddy
- 2 parts Fistful of Bourbon
- 2 parts hot water
- ½ part mint simple syrup
- ½ part fresh lime juice
- 1 bar spoon crème de cacao
- 2 dashes angostura bitters
Combine ingredients in a mug. Garnish with a large sprig of mint and freshly grated nutmeg.
