Activities

Get ready for six different activity zones that offer unforgettable experiences. Grand Central, French Quarter, Summer Landing, La Piazza, Lido, and The Ultimate Playground were all made uniquely for the Carnival Mardi Gras cruise ship. No matter which zone you're in, Mardi Gras has something for everyone.

Grand Central is home to the Piano Bar 88, The Punchliner Comedy Club, and Bonsai Sushi. French Quarter includes Emeril's Bistro 1936, The Brass Magnolia Bar, and Fortune Teller Bar. Summer Landing invites everyone to the pool deck for Guy Pig's BBQ and The Watering Hole poolside bar.

La Piazza is the spot for the best espresso and authentic Italian cuisine. Lido is the second poolside zone featuring RedFrog Tiki Bar and Street Eats. Last but not least is The Ultimate Playground, which includes basketball, mini golf, water games, and, of course, the only roller coaster at sea: The Bolt.

The fun doesn't stop there because Family Feud Live is also taking place on Mardi Gras. Take your chance to win big with the whole family or grab a seat in the audience for an unforgettable show.

Cruise Cuisine

Carnival Cruise Line offers a wide variety of food options to choose from. Their new restaurant "Chibang!" combines Mexican and Chinese cuisine for an unforgettable meal. Mardi Gras gives passengers their first meal at Chibang! free.

Seafood at sea just seems right. Rudi's Seafood is ran by master chef Rudi Sodamin and features seafood bisque, crab stuffed lobster, and so much more. Street Eats is Carnival's tribute to street food vendors all over the world. Stop in Street Eats for steaming potstickers, sizzling kebabs, or loaded fries.

It's not Mardi Gras without Emeril Lagasse. Emeril's Bistro 1936 pays tribute to classic New Orleans cuisine. Make your Mardi Gras experience perfect with a meal from a true New Orleanian. Shaq is also on board with his award-winning fried chicken. From breakfast sandwiches to lunch plates, Shaq's Big Chicken is sure to win over the whole family.
