September Bourbon Events
Grab your friends and enjoy many different bourbon events at the Sazerac House for National Bourbon Month this September.
The Sazerac House has its roots in the Sazerac Coffee House, home of the eponymous "Sazerac" cocktail. Created in order to honor its ancestor, which is located only a few hundred yards away, the Sazerac House boasts a distinct combination of being an all-in-one museum, distillery, and bar.

Drink & Learn: From Bourbon County to Bourbon Street
September 5 at 5:30 p.m. & September 25 at 6 p.m.
Drinks historian Elizabeth Peace kicks off the celebrations with a bourbon history lesson, teaching participants how the drink made its way from Kentucky all the way to New Orleans and shaped its drinking culture. Guests are also offered a flight of bourbon to taste.

Bourbon for Beginners
September 6 at 7 p.m. & September 20 at 7 p.m.
Looking for an exploratory introduction into the world of bourbon? Beginners will learn how to nose, taste, and enjoy bourbon like a professional. Available pours included in this session are Buffalo Trace Bourbon and a Bourbon Cocktail.

The Legends of Buffalo Trace Distillery: Stagg Grid Tasting
September 7 at 6 p.m.
A special tasting class and part of the Legends of Bourbon series, this event invites guests to sip an award-winning bourbon made at Sazerac owned Buffalo Trace Distillery, all the while learning about its history. Pours included in the experience: BTAC George T. Stagg, Stagg Jr., and Buffalo Trace Bourbon.
Cost: $75
The Legends of Buffalo Trace Distillery: Weller Grid Tasting
September 15 at 2 p.m.
Much like the previous Buffalo Trace Distillery event in this legend of bourbon series, guests will sip and learn more about the history of the Sazerac-owned distillery. Pours included in the experience: Weller Special Reserve, Weller Antique, and Weller Full Proof.

The Legends of Bourbon: Blanton's Grid Tasting
September 21 at 5:30pm
The final stop at the Legend of Bourbon Series, Blanton's Grid Tasting offers more refined tastes as well as the history of a bourbon giant. Pours included in the session are Blanton's Bourbon, Blanton's Gold Bourbon, and Elmer T. Lee Single Barrel.
