Boots on the Bayou 2025
Can't decide what to do this Halloween weekend? Come check out the first ever Boots on the Bayou festival in Gonzales!
This two-day event will take place at the Lamar-Dixon Expo Center on October 31 and November 1, featuring live country music, local Cajun cooking, Southern tailgating, and festive activities for the whole family.
Tailgating and Dancing
The fest's soul soothing line up will consist of headliners Chris Stapleton and Cody Johnson, with support from artists Parker McCollum, Riley Green, Marcus King Band, Carly Pearce, Elle King, Ashley Cooke, Maddox Batson, Tyler Braden, Chase Tyler, and Kruse Brothers.
Not only is there a jam packed festival lineup, the pre-festival tailgating party is putting on a set of unforgettable acts, too. Right outside the main festival grounds under a covered pavilion, Cowboy Mouth, Kolby Cooper, Timothy Wayne, Bradley Gaskin, Connor Martin, and Lauren Lee Band will take the stage to get the party going while cheering on your favorite teams.
Food and Fun
Local food vendors will be providing some legendary Louisiana flavors. Po-boys and fried catfish from Off The Hook Restaurant, smoked meats from Hino's Smokehouse, street tacos from Maria's Mexican Food, Cajun and Mexican fusion from Street Food Munchies, burgers and brews from Wagyulicious, New York style pizza from Alligator's NY, and so much more will be offered.
We can't forget about the festivities for the whole family. Get to shopping for some local Louisiana flare at the merchant tents, check out the complimentary face painting station, or put your creativity to the test and compete for prizes in the Halloween Costume Contest.
