With black tie attire, fine cuisine and groovy dance moves, Friday night was a charitable night at Mardi Gras World where all of the festivities supported a good cause. Presented by The American Cancer Society, the event was the 19th Annual Belles and Beaus Ball. With this year's theme being "The Keys of Hope", the event honored those who have passed and those who have persevered through the devastating effects of cancer. The beautiful event included a Silent Auction, Jewelry Raffle, Designer Handbag Drawing, Wine Pull, Hope Bears and much more. Patrons enjoyed dinner catered by 12 Seasons, spirits and specialty cocktails by the Stoli Group, along with live entertainment provided by T. Ray the Violinist and The Royal Essence Showband. Proceeds from this year's event will go to the Patrick F. Taylor Hope Lodge in New Orleans.
