Baron Samedi swooped into New Orleans just after his favorite holiday of Halloween to keep the party going for his Night of the Unknown, and he landed right at Republic where interested drinkers could find their spirit animal, sample his sweet and complex brand of spiced rum, and take part in an incredible virtual reality experience. Women with animal heads danced and swirled around you in a spooky abandoned church, and the Baron himself showed up to give you a drink card.
All the while, DJ Quickie Mart and DJ G-Cue spun their tunes so that the intoxicated attendees could boogie down. You can taste just a little bit of this magical, mystical evening by grabbing your own bottle of Baron Samedi.
