Celebración Latina: Honoring Latin American Culture in New Orleans
On September 24, Latin American culture will be the spotlight at the Audubon Zoo. Celebración Latina, presented by Pan-American Life Insurance Group, offers guests the great opportunity to experience Latin America with delicious food, live music, and endless activities.
Guests are invited to enjoy the festivities and explore the Zoo, visiting animals from Central and South America such as jaguars, spider monkeys, alpacas, prehensile-tailed porcupines, tapirs, ocelots, and more.
The celebration lasts from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., and the last ticket sold for Zoo admission will be at 4:00 p.m.

All performances will take place on the Zoo's Capital One Stage.

Participating Food Vendors
Celebración Latina 2023 has a wonderful array of local food vendors bringing vibrant Latin American flavors to the Audubon Zoo.
Look out for amazing small bites, drinks, and desserts from these participating vendors: Mais Arepas, La Michoacana, Norma's Sweets Bakery, Que Rico, Empanola, Tacos Para la Vida, Taqueria La Coyota, Taqueria el Poblano, Taqueria DF, and Los Jeffe.
Admission
All festival activities are included in a regular Zoo admission ticket. Audubon Nature Institute Members are admitted free of charge. Bring your blankets and chairs for a day of celebrating Latin American culture at the Audubon Zoo.
