Back for its 32nd Year

Tickets to NOWFE's Vinola, Labs and Experiences, Tournament of Rosés, and Burlesque, Bubbly & Brunch will be available on March 1, 2024

This year, the NOWFE's Board of Directors selected the Louisiana Restaurant Association Education Foundation (LRAEF), Delgado Community College Culinary Arts Program, and The Edible Schoolyard of New Orleans as its beneficiaries.

The LRAEF's mission is to enhance the industry's service to the public through career opportunities, community engagement, and education. The three main programs it offers are ProStart, a high school culinary/restaurant management program, the LRAEF Scholars, which awards scholarships to those pursuing a culinary or hospitality degree, and the Restaurant Youth Registered Apprenticeship, an earn-as-you-learn program.

The Delgado Culinary Arts Program offers a Culinary Arts Associate degree with a concentration in Baking and Pastry Arts or Professional Culinarian. Students also have the option to receive a Culinary Arts Certificate in either Culinary Management, Pastry Arts, and Culinary Arts: Line Cook.

FirstLine Schools developed the Edible Schoolyard New Orleans program to connect children to food, nature, and community through positive environments, quality culinary education, and fostering community within schools. The program's goal is to ensure the long-term well-being of students by offering hands-on cooking and garden classes.
