25 Years in NOLA
New Orleans' free, full-color, monthly entertainment magazine, Where Y'at Magazine, will be celebrating its 25th anniversary on September 1.
Where Y'at, which has been bringing readers the best of New Orleans' entertainment, music, food, nightlife, and more since 1998, will be throwing a party at Generations Hall, which is located at 310 Andrew Higgins Blvd. The party, which will take place on September 1 from 8 to 10 p.m., will be in celebration of the magazine hitting its 25-year milestone of being in business.
The general public is invited to come revel with Where Y'at's staff, writers, and many others who work to keep the magazine going. Attendees will be able to enjoy a special 25th anniversary cake, as well as drink specials, light bites, a photo booth, and more.
The event will have burlesque provided by Trixie Minx Productions, which is a leader of the New Orleans burlesque revival and is at the forefront of both preserving and innovating this unique performance art form. There will also be a fashion show by Hemline, which is a women's boutique that found its start on Chartres Street in 1994 and has since spread out to multiple other locations across the South.
There is no cover charge for the event, so bring your
friends and family along to celebrate Where Y'at Magazine's past,
present, and future.
